Kat Berner is a prolific creative spirit. Bloom Creative Arts started when she was just a young girl, turning her socks into hand puppets( much to her mother's dismay) and has continually progressed through many variations of art and craft.

She is multi talented and has sold her work in many shops and galleries through her long life. In 2024, Kat held a very successful one-woman show at Fenceline Cidery in Mancos, CO, sharing her WOOD & STONE creations. Inspired by the beauty of nature in the Four Corners region, she combines various found pieces of wood and rocks, with her various skills, to create wonderful, and often delightful, home decorative items.

Kat, a seamstress, also creates her collections of DENIM & LACE/Art-to-Wear. This is her endeavor to help reduce the tons of fiber products that often end up in landfills. Her upcycled garments, such as denim jackets and blouses, each one-of-a-kind, are very popular.

Kat also offers her beautifully hand painted rocks as well as various mixed medium collage work. Always working to improve and expand her skills, Kat explores new possibilities of art expression.
